Transforming healthcare

ā€œI created Trinpathic Wellness to offer something different: compassionate, unhurried, personalized care that looks at the whole person — not just a diagnosis.ā€
— Nikole Boshonek MSN, FNP-BC, DipACLM, CHWC

I’m Nikole Boshonek, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Lifestyle Medicine specialist, and Reiki Master with more than 25 years of nursing and healthcare experience. I earned my BSN from Penn State University and served nearly five years as a Navy Nurse Corps Officer before earning my Master of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University.

My passion for integrative primary care and lifestyle medicine grew from seeing firsthand how rushed, symptom-focused healthcare can leave patients feeling unheard. I created Trinpathic Wellness to offer something different: compassionate, unhurried, personalized care that looks at the whole person—not just a diagnosis.

I combine evidence-based medicine with lifestyle medicine, health and wellness coaching, nutrition, movement, stress management, and other holistic approaches because I believe our bodies have an amazing ability to heal when given the right environment. My goal is to help you prevent disease, manage chronic conditions, improve your health, and create sustainable habits for life.

Care that sees the whole you

With experience caring for many conditions including obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol, I believe medications can be valuable tools—but they are only one part of the picture. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge, support, and personalized guidance to take an active role in your health.

Whether you’re seeking primary care, medical weight management, lifestyle medicine, wellness coaching, or Reiki, my approach is centered around your individual goals and needs. I offer care through in-office visits and secure telemedicine, making personalized healthcare more convenient and accessible.

I believe you deserve to be heard, understood, and cared for as a whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Together, we can create meaningful, sustainable changes that support your health, promote longevity, and allow you to thrive for years to come.

I strive to live by the advice I give my clients. When I’m not seeing patients, you’ll likely find me enjoying a long hike, going for a run, cooking healthy meals for my family, or simply spending time with my loved ones.

If this resonates with you, reach out today! I’d be honored to be part of your health journey.

My Approach to Wellness

Whole-Person Care

I believe your health is shaped by so much more than a diagnosis, a lab result, or a prescription. Whole-person care means taking the time to understand you — your health history, lifestyle, daily life, mental and emotional state, your challenges, goals, and what matters most to you.

Evidence-Based Medicine

I combine evidence-based conventional medical care with lifestyle medicine, health coaching, and holistic practices to create care that is both comprehensive and deeply personal. This approach allows us to use every appropriate tool available to help you become healthier.

Personalized Care

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to health. Your care is thoughtfully tailored to your individual needs, goals, preferences, and readiness to change. I meet you where you are today and together, we build a path forward that feels realistic, meaningful, and sustainable.

Sustainable Change

Real health improvement doesn’t happen through quick fixes or unrealistic expectations. I focus on helping you make sustainable lifestyle changes that fit your life and can last for the long term.

What is Lifestyle Medicine?

Lifestyle Medicine is an evidence-based approach to healthcare that focuses on the everyday habits that have a powerful impact on our health. It focuses on 6 core pillars of health: healthy nutrition, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, social connection, and avoidance of harmful substances, like tobacco and alcohol.

Rather than simply treating symptoms, lifestyle medicine helps you understand how your daily habits may be affecting your health and gives you practical, personalized tools to make meaningful changes.

For my patients, this means working together to improve health, prevent or better manage chronic conditions, and create lasting habits that support greater energy, quality of life, and longevity.

Avoid Harmful Substances

Root-Cause Focus

It’s important to look beyond just treating the problem on the surface and understand what may be driving it. I consider your nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, lifestyle, environment, and overall well-being to identify opportunities for meaningful change
